He wants to rearrange them to go on one side.....I have no influence! This bike was an '07 with 300 miles on it. It had been traded in the very morning he went shopping.

Lady ridesalot: Nate is very proud of his new bike and has ideas on how he wants to change it. We are planning some summer rides.

One Harley Rider: I hear ya. Even I couldn't afford that bike, er, I wouldn't pay that much for a bike. That's why I don't have a Harley.

Liz: I also love the color. Last year I was dreaming of a Street Bob in that same color combination. It looks retro.

Phil: I agree that the pipes on the Nightster look too short or something. These kids just won't have stock pipes...they aren't cool. I think the black will blend in better.

Rick: Thanks. There is nothing more beautiful than a new Harley, or any new bike for that matter. They are like a fine jewel.

BikerchickzBeckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05359539597315766635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8663744941144434388.post-16907930340236886792008-07-01T12:33:00.000-07:002008-07-01T12:33:00.000-07:00Great looking bikes.Great looking bikes.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14292888400812999160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8663744941144434388.post-11948648055078757092008-07-01T06:25:00.000-07:002008-07-01T06:25:00.000-07:00Nice! The olive pearl/black two tone has me "green" with envy! You've got to admit the Motor Company knows what it's doing when you see a nearly brand new bike that looks like it came out of the 1930's. The fish tails really make the look of the bike.

It also sort of rubs a little salt in my wounds. I have this sort of curse on me that works like this: When I see something I really want to buy, I usually don't have the money. When I have the money, I can never find what I want to buy.

By early next year, I plan on trading in my Sporty for a new big-twin. If that bike were offered in '09 I'd be buying it. For reasons only known to some pointed heads in a board room somewhere in Milwaukee, the Springer is no more - at least not the way I want it. Now, they only offer the Cross Bones, an all blacked-out version I don't really care for, and the Screamin' Eagle Springer which is well over 20 grand to start.

My favorite bike of all time is the Heritage Springer, which they stopped making in I believe 2003. The Classic is my next favorite. I'm seriously considering looking around for a new '07 left-over if I can find one somewhere - that's how BAD I want one.

Your son did good - really good. Give him my best wishes for enjoying what I think is one of the finest motorcycles on the road."Joker"https://www.blogger.com/profile/00123102968850707085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8663744941144434388.post-34407342228442030512008-06-27T07:28:00.000-07:002008-06-27T07:28:00.000-07:00Well you know Nate he is a spoiled brat! but we lo...Well you know Nate he is a spoiled brat! but we love him.
